Shiv Sena leader and former state environment minister Ramdas Kadam has worked to destabilize the Mahavikas Aghadi government. The allegations were made by MNS state general secretary and Khed mayor Vaibhav Khedekar at a press conference here today. Vaibhav Khedekar’s statement has stirred the political atmosphere in Konkan and when Ramdas Kadam was the leader of Shiv Sena, he also tried to destabilize the Mahavikas Aghadi government. Vaibhav Khedekar has also appealed to Kirit Somaiya, a friend of Ramdas Kadam, to bring to the notice of the world the details of Ramdas Kadam’s anonymous assets and also to investigate his ED. A few days back, BJP’s Kirit Somaiya had leaked information about Anil Parab’s unofficial resort in Dapoli. All the information given to Somaiya was requested by a person named Prasad Karve under the right to information and Ramdasbhai Kadam gave that information to his friend Kirit Somaiya of BJP. Vaibhav Khedekar said that if Somaiya is really fighting against corruption, he should also investigate Ramdas Bhai.
Ramdasbhai stepped in for several months trying to disqualify him

Ramdas Kadam puts tremendous pressure on the authorities to take action for his disqualification
Though Ramdas Kadam put pressure on Shiv Sena corporators to sign the motion of complaint against me, I will reverse the plot to disqualify me. “The Mumbai High Court has given me another 15 days to present my case. We have given evidence before the court that Ramdas Kadam has interfered in the investigation of the complaint against me,” Mayor Vaibhav Khedekar told a press conference on Saturday. Mayor Vaibhav Khedekar had called a press conference on Saturday 18th in the mayor’s room of Khed Municipal Council. At this time, he said, some people pledged their allegiance to Vaibhav Khedekar. A conspiracy was hatched against me by holding the system in hand. But now I have overturned their innings. Those whose signatures complained against me have privately met me and told us that we signed under the pressure of Ramdas Kadam. While filing a complaint against me, a person named Prasad Karve, who obtained information using the right to information, has violated one section of the Right to Information Act by giving it to another. It was Karve who took information from the RTI regarding Dapoli Guardian Minister Anil Parab and gave it to Ramdas Kadam and Ramdas Kadam gave it to Kirit Somaiya. Prasad Karve, who works for Ramdas Kadam, needs to be questioned, said Mr. Khedekar. He further said that the complaint against me has not been investigated within the ambit of law. The inquiry process was run illegally for eight months. Ramdas Kadam has repeatedly interfered in the process by sending letters several times without any involvement in the process. As I have full faith in the God of justice, I appealed to the Mumbai High Court against this illegal inquiry process. Hearing in the court on 15th and 16th, the court has now extended the period of fifteen days given to me by the Urban Development Department for another fifteen days. Also, the Urban Development Department will keep an eye on the next course of action in my case. Before the High Court, we have given evidence of how my inquiry has become illegal and the political interference in it. Ramdas Kadam has hatched a conspiracy against me for the sake of gaining power of Khed Municipality only during his son’s tenure as MLA. I am a fighter. For the last fifteen years the townspeople have shown faith in me. The ED needs to inquire into the financial situation of Ramdas Kadam himself before he became an MLA and how he came to have assets worth thousands of crores. By using the authorities as his staff, Ramdas Kadam is plotting against ordinary activists like me to take me away from politics. If they have the courage, they should fight and win the municipal elections face to face. The people are with me because of the work I have done and the development work for the city of Khed. The reign of terror is not to be played. Although I have a few activists with me, they are loyal. Therefore, I will come to power again, said Vaibhav Khedekar.
